Fall 2024
Classes Taken: EE 416 (Random Signals for Communication and Signal Processing), EE 447 (Control System Analysis), EE 499 (Undergraduate Research)
Starting my senior year, I’m balancing multiple responsibilities. I’m currently juggling two jobs as a Teaching Assistant and a Grader for EE 342 (Signal Processing III), which has been both rewarding and demanding. The workload is especially heavy as I’m also in the midst of applying for PhD and fellowship applications, which adds a layer of pressure. Despite the challenges, I’m learning how to manage my time effectively and maintain a high standard of work in all areas.
I also had the opportunity to attend the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) Conference this quarter. While it was a bit intimidating to step into such a large, high-energy event, it was an incredible experience. I had the chance to explore Chicago, meet industry professionals, and network with other students. It was also an invaluable opportunity to learn more about different PhD programs and universities, helping me gain a clearer sense of where I might want to pursue my graduate studies.
